I was going for a double-leg takedown on a guy, and I got the initial shoot off alright... but he defended it standing & based his legs out. I pulled outta the clinch too early as I was rising up to wrap his hips and try to go for a slam, and WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM, his knee came right up and chin-checked me. I wasn't wearing my mouthguard, so I felt teeth clack... the only problem was that my tongue was between the aforementioned teeth. Teeth are not supposed to clack when you have your tongue between them.

The real story on how he bit his tongue was simply I told him not to go down that far he couldn't take it, and needless to say gag reflex, aformentioned teeth clack...bad situation all around. Talk about being turned off.
