I absolutely hate to see any player injured (be it a cowboy or a gator; my 2 most hated teams) but most of all I hate to see Chad Scott out. I hope like hell it wasnt serious and he's ready to go by week after next (they have next week off)
I was so happy to finally see Roslinberger play; he is damn, damn good and I hope he never leaves us. With him as the Steeler QB they can go far. Needless to say not seeing Maddox on the field was just an added bonus.
I'm proud of my boys for winning the game despite the odd's. The officials were disgustingly kind to the home team and they lost 3 players (I think) total and won ANYWAY....especially considering that 1 sec. remaining (my ass) if they had actually caught the ball and won the game it would have been a travesty. Despite favoring officials, bullshit clock management, etc....who walked out of the cowboy's stadium with their head's held high?? :D

....I don't know abut the officials being kind other than the 1 second call. The game should have never come to that. The Cowboys were in control until that unbelievable fumble. That catch by Terry Glenn on the sidelines should have been ruled a catch and force out on the initial call. Rothlisberger is unbelievable. I couldn't believe he got off that little flip to the tight end when we had three guys around him. Duce Staley has always killed the Cowboys and he is a stud. He runs with such reckless abandon. I wanted the Cowboys to pick him up instead of Eddie in the offseason. Parcells thinks that Rothlisberger is the real deal. I just wish he had come to that conclusion before the draft. That guy is gonna be a good one for a long long time.

naturally, being a hugh Steeler fan (and Cowboy hater ) I disagree with most of what you said :p but isnt that the way it goes. I didnt think Glenn had full control of the ball before going out of bounds, so I honestly didnt think it was a completed pass and neither did the commentators, soooo, that was one of the few 'good' calls the officials made that night. There were several pass interference flags that should have been thrown and werent (on both sides...see, I CAN be fair) and it seemed like the Steeler's would gain 5 yards and get penalized 15! I know since I'm a fan its a little hard to be objective, but all in all it was a good game.
I'll say again that Rothlisberger (get it right this time??) is the answer to the Steelers problem; the same problem they've had for years. That problem (Maddox) has been holding them back from achieving all that they could. THANK GOD (and I have, repeatedly) that he has been replaced with a fresh, young and awesome new talent! All the other teams better watch out now! With his arm (not to mention his ability to scramble!!!) and Heinz , and the fantastic running back on the field (Duce??) thing's are finally, finally shaping up!! :)
