View Full Version : Top 10 Worst Rappers
Knicksman20 01-17-2007, 10:37 AM If you have more then keep the list going. They're some obvious ones out the like Vanilla Ice that are a given. So I wanna see the worst of the worst.
10-Benzino- Just plain bad
9-Jermaine Dupris- He's average as a producer but when he gets on the mic I cringe.
8- U-God (Wu-Tang)- Weakest of the Wu
7- Project Pat- Doesn't need explaining
6- Pharrell- Would you even consider him as a rapper?
5- Dem Franchize Boyz- Doesn't need explaining
4- Silk The Shocker- Doesn't need explaining
3- Master P- Doesn't need explaining
2- E40- This guy sounds like he has a cold when he raps; & his lyrics & bad
1- Magoo- (Was with Timbaland)- The guy sounds like Q-Tip when he was 5 years old.
neils7147933 01-17-2007, 10:41 AM Are you limiting this to popular artists who have had success? There are way worse artists with recording deals than the 11 you listed (well, maybe not than Benzino...)

E-40: In a Major Way is a very good album
I'm a fan of Dupri too. I like Silkk's flow. When Pharrell raps, he's pretty bad, but I like him as an artist. I liked Master P pre-MP Da Last Don. I can even stand some Dem Franchise Boyz singles but I won't defend them... Timbaland & Magoo's music was hypnotic, but in a bad way. U-God isn't as distinctive as the others in the Wu, but not a bad rapper. I'm not familiar enough with Project Pat to judge. Vanilla Ice is a punchline now, but he recorded one of the most memorable rap singles ever, and by the standards of the industry when he came out, his first album wasn't that bad.

Any criteria you like. My list is just my opinion & I know not all will agree. Put down who you think is terrible; I'd like some opinions.

I think U-God is good he's not bad to me atleast. Pharrell has had some hot verses but his album was a musical disaster.
oldgringo 01-17-2007, 02:42 PM Yeah Project Pat is great. He has one of the funniest styles in rap. I love hearing a guest verse from pat whenever. "I straight flipp-uh, the cheese like pan-cake-uh"...
I can't stand artists like Sole and I don't like Sage Francis and the like. I didn't particularly like Dizzee Rascal...I don't really like Fabo.
I don't think I could give a comprehensive top 10 at this point though.
oldgringo 01-17-2007, 02:44 PM wait....jayo felony is ****ing terrible. juelz santana is pretty garbage too. i don't like jimmy jones either but sometimes i enjoy a jones verse.

i agree, his big mistake was ever letting anyone see him:lol1:
Seriously, that video messed him up. If all we had ever heard was the track "ice ice Baby" I think it might have been popular everywhere (not just with while chicks in the suburbs). I think his voice was less annoying than Eminem's actually. If you combined his voice with Eminem's rhymes, you would have the ultimate white rapper.
cyberthugpatrol 01-17-2007, 02:56 PM worst rapper of all time

Disagree with the first statement but i definately agree with the second. He is the Most overhyped rapper in history.

It's an opinion; I think he's wack & his lyrics are corny. Get over it.

Yeah i think u do need some explaining. Project is one of the hardest rappers out u clown. He has some of the best content out. U must have heard only a few songs or sumin.
Worst rappers not said: Ja Rule, some DMX, Jay Z. And U know its true but Luda does have some weak lines. All his **** is end rhyme only.

I think the only clown is your ass for liking that cornball Project Pat. His lyrics are some of the worst; & to put Jay-Z on the list as wack & throws your own credibility out the window. Luda is far from wack, & X; maybe some of his new **** but he's far from wack. The only one you got right was Rule & that's not saying much.

put up some "cornball lrics" i doubt you can. Jay Z is over rated.I would go with Naz anyday. Yeah i know, everyone likes Luda but u know he has end ryhme only and is well hyped. Projects lyrics are better than his. Most of all your wack just like the Knicks
MetalVomit 01-26-2007, 12:02 AM Chingy, I'm amazed that this guy even got a record deal. Listening to his music is completely hilarious. Comedy gold.

Can only comment on the Knicks right, wow? How bout that fat-ass punch drunk Toney who's a Tae Bo ho in your avatar? Jay-Z overated? Maybe, but the man knows how to make a hit. Just because he knows how to make mainstream hits doesn't make him overated. Your corn ball favorite rapper is wack get over it. Songs like Chicken Heads & Good Googly Moogly are some good lyrics right? It's tracks like those that are ruining rap. Rap/Hip Hop should be about what you have to say not just about yelling some catchy hook over a beat with alot of bass.
Bucktown Beast 01-26-2007, 11:17 PM 8- U-God (Wu-Tang)- Weakest of the Wu
Definitely disagree...He didn't have that solo status but he did his thing on many tracks. Had a thorough delivery, especially on 'Black Jesus' and 'Diesel'.
I'm sure alot of yall disagree, seems that many people hold this ****er in such high regard but I think Eminem is dumb weak. Can't stand him and his corny bubble gum rap.
Jay Z is the most overrated rapper on the planet but far from the worse rapper. As far as I'm concerned "Can I live" is one of the greatest rap songs of all time and you don't make one of the greatest rap songs ever if you are one of the worse rappers ever. Ofcourse I can't defend all the garbage he started making after Reasonable Doubt.
Bucktown Beast 01-27-2007, 02:17 PM All his **** is end rhyme only.

quit stealing nas lines. and your naming all of project pats mainstream songs. so obviously u dont know **** on what your talking about. discussion ended.
why dont u go listen to some project pat cds instead of basing it on 2 songs. u and your list is stupid. reason why ppl r shutting it down.but idiots have opinions also
Eruthless666 01-27-2007, 02:59 PM U-God's verses on the Wu albums are alone a huge reason why he isnt a bad rapper at all, some of his verses on 36 Chambers are classic, not to mention his verses on supreme clientele, i admit now hes wack but he def isnt top 10 worst, id still listen to him any day over dem franchise boyz, juelz, jim jones, hell rell, d4L, young joc, young jeezy and more
Kobe Bryant 01-27-2007, 05:06 PM Flavor Flav just came out with an album I heard one song it was awful. But much respect to Public Enemy.

LUDACRIS LYRICS
"Act A Fool"
Let's take it to the streets cuz I'm ready to CRUISE
Just bought me and my cars all some brand new SHOES
And the people just stare so I love to PARK IT
And I just put a computer in the glove COMPARTMENT
With the pedal to the floor, radar in the GRILLE
TV in the middle of my STEERING WHEEL
It's my car's birthday so we blow them CANDLES
More speakers in the trunk than my ride can HANDLE
Got my name in the headrest, read it and WEEP
NOS tank in the back, camel hair on the SEAT
and when I pull up to the club, I get all the AFFECTION
Cuz the women love the paint and they can see their REFLECTION
I'm about to take off, so F what ya HEARD
Because my side mirrors flap like a ****IN BIRD
And the fools, we gon clock one and we'll POP ONE
Cuz my folk ridin shotgun with a SHOTGUN

Although Im a Luda fan, you are basically right about it. Alot of his flows are like that but to his credit he does switch it up alot.
But, I think what it is, is that he put more emphasis on the end words than most...cuz every rapper has to rhyme their end words, or else they aint rhymin.
about ludacris, rapping is about rhyming. i think what you may not like is his delivery. i don't find his delivery very good myself.
-Antonio- 01-28-2007, 12:35 AM I think Luda is underrated. The AABBCC rhymestyle is fine with me, and he doesnt always do it. Lyrically he is and has always been very good, and I love the emphasis he puts on some of his lines. It adds life to a song.

You're the biggest hater for NY rappers anyway so keep your biased country bumpkin ass opinion yourself. You're just hating because deep down you know most of southern rap is not only wack but ruining rap. Noboy's shutting anything down; it's called a difference of opinion & it's welcome from ANYONE who's respectful. You're hating midget ass comes into my thread posting nonsense. Some southern artist have skills but then you have the others talking about nothing with just a decent beat & bass on the track.

You're right James Toney is a future HOF'er; but that doesn't change the fact that he's the most lazy active boxer that can't/won't get himself into shape for a fight since his debut at heavy. Project Pat is wack just like alot of your southern rappers; end of discussion & I'm not the only in the thread that said it. My avatar pics has been change for months but I'm still a fan regardless if they win or lose.

You can just drink a big dick on the rocks ***** ass. You have Little Man's disease & it shows Gary Coleman. You're choices of southern rap music is wack. You're real original putting up bottles & all as I shred you pieces (even though there's not much to shred with your dark Mini Me ass). Nobody's taking any seriously; but the ***** in you decided to send me bad karma because you didn't like what I had to say. If you were a real man you'd disagree respectfully; but you're a cornball with hate is his blood that's been exposed for what he is: A hating minimum wage circus midget that works with Bozo The Clown on PBS. I thought I saw you in Harlem not too long ago working with the UniverSoul Circus in you're juggling act. Keep up the good work Bushwick, maybe you might get promoted one day out of your pitiful job.

No, i knew it was obvious. i was just stating the fact that he was born there, even without him, No reappers from the South compare to the other four anyway.
