Gears of war won b/c it had rediculous graphics. I refuse to beleive that a game that only came out for a few weeks (I don't know when it actually came out so correct me) wins game of the year. If it wasn't a popularity contest then like Lianison said, Okami would have and should have won. They don't focus on gameplay and originality anymore, it's just which can perform in the graphics level which is sad. What ever happened to original and innovative storylines, which GOW clearly lacked. This is why I hold Halo so high above any FPS b/c the gameplay is amazing and so is the stroyline. I love FPS as much as the next guy but they are essentially the same thing, shooting either humans, aliens or robots with great graphics and cool guns.

But I enjoyed the gameplay in that game after awhile, but at first I thought the game was horrible. I'm getting sick of it now, I'm starting to really enjoy Crackdown, I recommend if you have 360 grab that demo and search for a game with a friend. That's pretty much Grand Theft Auto + Superman haha, It's pretty damn sick.

My friend told me about that. Is that where you start off as a regular cop and after you complete missions you get stronger then eventually your able to leap tall buildings? When he told me that I was like I have to get this game when I get my 360.

Yeah Crackdown is a deff. game that I'm saving up for.

The story mode is fantastic as well.

The story mode was pretty sick, atleast you know it continues and just dosent end horribly.

Beating it on Realistic was quite the accomplishment for me haha.
