rigid 01-06-2003, 09:55 AM anyone ever see this movie?if not, it's about a highschool kid that discovers that an old man in his neighborhood is a former nazi war criminal.the man has been hunted for 40 years, as he was the head of oushwitz concentration camp.the boy gets info like prints, pics of him and threatens to turn him in if he does not tell him all kinds of stories about it.
i thought it was a bizzare movie, but a good one.does anyone know why the kid wanted to hear all the stories?it never really explained it, just kinda jumped right in
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 11:09 AM you think that is bad you should read the short story. The movie makes the kid look like he was persuaded to do the things he did (which in the movie wasnt much). In the book its more explicit.
For Instance: in the movie he is in the car with that girl and he cant have sex with her and she laughs at him and on to the next scene. In the book that night he has a wet dream about electricuting that girl.
He wanted to hear all the stories cause he was fascinated with murder and was prone to seriel killer tendencies anyway. The meetings with the Nazi only fed into those tendencies and eventually he leads down the path of the seriel (cannot spell this word) killer. The movie and the book also have drastically differant endings.
Allison 01-06-2003, 11:15 AM This sounds like a book I'd like to read after I finish the current one. Does it have the same name?
ParazIT 01-06-2003, 11:19 AM sounds cool...
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 11:22 AM it is the short story in Stephen King's Differant Seasons. you will also find in there a story called The Body which was made into the movie "Stand by Me"
Allison 01-06-2003, 11:25 AM mail me your copy.
The Mouse 01-06-2003, 11:26 AM lol, lazy ass!
Allison 01-06-2003, 11:27 AM I'll trade you 120 Days of Sodom when I finish it.
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 11:28 AM lol, I dont own a copy. Your Library should have it though. Stephen King is popular enough to be sitting in every Library.

.
where can you go to read books of the net?please send me links..thanks
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 11:53 AM The one I talked to Allison about was a page that was dedicated to the life and truth of the Marquis De Sade. The Story was there because when an Author is dead long enough his stories become public domain. Authors like Shakesphere, Goethe and De Sade could have stories floating around on the net. I just happen to find De Sade's and then lost the link.

Actually, he is becoming like the old man. The reason he can't perform that night, is because it finally hits him that his girlfriend is half-jewish. His wanker figured it out before his brain did.
rigid 01-06-2003, 12:51 PM i didn't know that
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 01:35 PM **** thats right, Its time for a reread. thanks Banned.
Waylander 01-06-2003, 01:37 PM How long til they become public domain do you know?
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 02:09 PM I think 200 years or so after the Author dies.
The Golden Bear 01-06-2003, 02:55 PM **** that. Guys go to the Library... its free.
Nothing like a book in hand to make the night feel sexy.
