anyone ever go through this madness?me and the misses just signed a lease on a new place after like 2 weeks of looking.i never would have thought it would have been this hard to find a place to live.every place we went to wanted a fee, sometimes up to 100 dollars just to submit an application.you have to have 1 tier credit just rent an apartment these days.then they want the rent*times 2* just to get you in there
it's ****in bull****

thanks kato.i'll tell you that it was really discouraging.you would not believe how ****ty, how expensive some were.in the end, we settled on a very nice, modern and up to date apartment.i couldn't believe the condition of some and they were in good looking buildings also

I hear ya. Thats why I ended up buying...here in MI I was going to pay $1000 for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment, less then 900sqft. My house is close to 1600 4 bedrooms 2 full baths and basement and I only pay $200 more.

Where are you at Rigid?

When is the house warming party Alli?, do you guys have everything already?

It isnt ghetto. Its just a lively area. And that cop in the parking lot just enjoys the area, thats why he sits there 24 hours a day.

I mean, how dangerous could it be? Cops are there all the time.

Nothing wrong with living in a lively area... kinda gives you more to talk about in those warm summer nights while over looking the view from the balcony kool aid and vodka at hand ;)

kato, i'm just west of cleveland.i am getting ready to get married in the matter of months.we just bought a new car about a week ago.i'm getting my bike in june.i figured it would be best to rent for a year to get in the groove then we are gonna buy a house.with the money we spen on all our bills, car payment, ect, we have about 1,200 dollars every month left over.i figured if we saved a little more than half of that we could put down 7-8 grand on a house and that down payment would buy our interest rate daown pretty good.we just bought a new computer, tv, desk.i wanted to have everything paid off(except the car and bike)before we bought our house

Now that is a very familiar scenario.
