Javier Vasquez is the real deal. No offense to Scorpion, but I think "Showtime" will win this tourney.

Is this you're way of keeping me from jumping all over the place Jeremy, does this mean I'm filming................? Will they even let me film it? Ohhhhhhhhh, I can't stay quiet at these events, you know that........... all you'll hear on the tape is people yelling at me to get the hell out of the way............and stop screaming.........

mmafanman, I'm sure Javier Vasquez is the real deal, but as you know in this sport, anything can happen. Did you know that Jeremy was in Kansas about 8 months ago, and won a belt? An openweight tournament, one of the guys he submitted weighed over 200 lbs! Along with Jobe Duran, Herb Dean also won belts. A testing of skills is always exciting, don't you think?

Yes, I agree. Anything can happen in the ring. I wish Jeremy the best and I hope he wins the tournament. But I've seen Vasquez live at a couple of KOTC events. He's absolutely phenomenal on the ground. He also just beat Rumina Sato in Shooto (yes, Sato's skills may be declining, but he's still no pushover). And if this is a pure grappling event, not vale tudo, I really don't see why Vasquez shouldn't win.

Oh yes how I look forward to 8 man tournaments. I cant wait!!!
Im going to give my best and see where my skill level is, and yes I won the CPW title. Central Plains wrestling champion. I submitted 3 guys 2 good Kansas state Wrestlers and a 215lbs Gracie student, but he was only a purple belt, and he wore his gi. It was a good experience to check out the mid east. ANd I look forward to going back soon! I agree Javier is the real deal Ive also seen him submit guys twice his size at eez! He is not a guy to take lightly!

Jeremy is correct. Javier Vazquez has the ability to defeat any 155lbs fighter in the world.

Win or lose, I will be very proud! For any fighter to to step up to a challenge and give his all makes each event exciting. If no one competed against a fighter who everyone says can not be beaten, there would be no reason to even compete! But to go in and use the ability and spirit you have worked so hard for, makes it very much worthwhile. Pushing beyond your limits is what makes fighters so special, it is the very heart of most!
