View Full Version : UFC Brazil - Vitor Vs Vanderlei
ParazIT 01-04-2003, 10:48 PM after the match when the chutebox took care of Silva...why were Pele there without a shirt? He didn't fight at the UFC Brazil but still he hugs Vanderlei wearing nothing more than a necklace (couldn't see if he was wearing pants or his battle-speedos)...
realkaps 01-04-2003, 11:13 PM They are lovers.......
krikit 01-05-2003, 08:16 AM He´s a ruthless ganster superstar

silva would murder belfort and/or pele now
With power behind the punch, vitor will still own silva. Henderson and Metzger rocked the house in Silva's brain. You can improve everything in style, power, stamina, but you cant improve your ability to handle punches that jar your head. Can you say, glass jaw? or glass head?
Big-g 01-06-2003, 12:58 AM you only have a glass jaw if you get koed.

Also, Lennox Lewis has a bad glass jaw doesnt mean he will lose again.
realkaps 01-06-2003, 12:59 AM Why do Silva fans always make excuses, he got beat down, end of story.....
seldomTap 01-06-2003, 01:05 AM Vitor has always had great hands when he lets them fly. Silva was caught with the first one and was going backwards from then on.
Would it happen again in a rematch? Not sure, Silva has improved since then, Vitor is always a question mark...who knows could go either way
Noobie 01-06-2003, 06:11 AM I downloaded UFC Brazil off Kazaa recently. It was 700+ Megs. But yea. He seems to have a habit of losing his shirt after matches.
ParazIT 01-06-2003, 08:47 AM Silva has timing and he is agressive, if he fights someone who is calm and who use technuqie (and has timing) I think he will get KO'd, I think Vitor stand a good chance and more so does Cro-cop stand a chance...

Cro Cop never came close to scoring a KO on Wanderlai when they fought......I doubt they'll fight again.
Mr. Beelzebub 01-06-2003, 09:50 AM I miss the old Vitor.
OOookk
Waylander 01-06-2003, 10:04 AM I would go with Silva on the rematch.
Aaron Bizarre 01-06-2003, 11:18 AM now that Cro Cop has a better ground game I dont know. Vanderlei was taking him down constantly but now that saw Mirko's defense on Fujita I cant really say how it would go. What I do know is those kicks to Vanderlei's ribs looked awful and he could only take so many more of them.
rtbrouwer 01-06-2003, 12:42 PM I don't think that belfort could KO silva...... Cro cop is one of the best standup fighters in the world and yet he couldn't KO silva so I don't think belfort can do it either...
I do think that crocop could win a rematch!
Kimura 01-06-2003, 03:35 PM Vitor has some fast hands, but I doubt he could beat Silva so easily in a rematch; I could see it going to the judges.

True but Cro-cop is on a whole other level striking wise, if Silva actaully went to K-1 Cro-cop would take him out in the first round..but never the less Silva is better at MMA.
mmafanman 01-06-2003, 06:54 PM Where is the new Vitor?
ParazIT 01-08-2003, 06:44 PM he is on survivor...

I agree with you whole heartedly, I am a huge fan of Silva. But he took a whoopin, end of story. It happens. Also the "why did you stop the fight" look on Silva was priceless.
