He's not very pop but I like some of his songs .

That he's wack and those who branded him the next 2pac when he first came out were horribly mistaken. He will be best remembered for his beef with 50 Cent and helping launch 50's rise to stardom.

His first album vita vetti votti or whatever was pretty good but after that he fell way off.

I don't give a **** with 50 Cent said or what anyone says, Ja Rule is jammin to me.

Yeah he may be "pop" but he still has made some good songs which is better than a great lyricist making a weak song.

He has earned a few minutes if a Ken Burns Rap Documentary ever came out...

He's pretty much a non-factor in today's hip-hop. Today's hip-hop isn't much to speak of, though, anyway.

The suburban kids just wanted to play "gangsta" that's why they turned on Ja Rule and started talking **** when 50 Cent came out. The ones who were talking **** about Ja Rule were the same ones making him a platinum artist.
