just completed red steel too. i am starting a new file as well as i wanna play through the game again.

the aiming grows on you. you really need to put the time in to gain the rewards.
i started getting accuracy ratings of 90% on most levels after a while. the enemy ai is some of the best i have seen on a first person shooter.

soundtrack is great, though the voice acting is a bit dodgy.the visulas were lush in this game as well.

i enjoyed the mix between shooting and sword fights.

overall i'd give it maybe a 7 out of 10.

just completed zelda: the twighlight princess. i tried to get as many poes,bugs and heart pieces before tackling the last boss. when it was all said and done i had a total game time of over 44 hours.

the game to me was still lacking that certain bit of magic which made ocarina of time so great.

the look of the game was great and i enjoyed the new touches, such as the fights on horseback. the soundtrack as usual for a zelda game was fantastic and really set the mood.

although it was in the end nowhere near as good as ocarina of time it was a hell of a lot closer to emulating that magic than the windwaker was.

overall i'd give the game a respectable 8.5

i lost half a year of my life because of that game. i must have completed it over 50 times.

Dude the game is amazing....I stopped playing all games for this one...My friend (who's beat it multiple times) was with me when I bought it and he said that it should keep me busy until I get my 360 (which won't be until April)..He said you could put well over 50 hours into it...I've only had it alittle over 24 hours and I've already played 9 hours into the game....

i somehow never got round to playing any of the sequels. the original however was a hell of a game and if the sequels are half as good then they should be enjoyable.

For some reason Syphon Filter does stick out in my mind, although I never have played it...

i'l shall be purchasing.....far cry vengeance, call of duty 3 and marvel ultimate alliance, all for the wii next week. i'll let you all know what i thought after i complete each one.

good because I heard mixed reviews about Wii games, especially CoD:3

Well I did buy Syphon Filter: Omega Strain (it’s was 3.99) and must say was pleasantly surprised. Graphics were good as was the sound, most the missions were fun and some of the new options were pretty neat.

One bad point about is when you died. For example, your mission has a time limit on it, 40 seconds till the clock goes and you die. You have to restart the mission with 40 seconds time remain. Like WTF? That **** really put a dent on what is a fairly good game.

Pretty much the only game I play is the most ongoing uncompletable game you can get.

Battlefield 2 online on the PC. I have a lot of medals and still missing a **** load more, missing unlocks and i'm only ranked at ¨Gunnery Sergeant¨ so I am a baby in this game. But I enjoy it so much so I just do that.

If I put my mind into console games then I would have done every game I own easily... and in fact when I was playing my consoles more that is what I did... there arent too many games that got the best of me, certainetly not a single one I can think of off the top of my head.

Possibly the greatest console game I ever played: Shenmue on Dreamcast. I would really like someone to show me a game that is as good as that game. Or for Sega to release a kick ass new version of it... I loved that ****.

yeah dude Shenmue was the ****, I still pay it occasionally. It was suppose to be this huge I think like 13 games searies or something like that but it never caught on, don't ask me why I thought it was amazing, very creative for it's time. I would still play Battlefield 2 butmy comp is getting old and I need to get new **** for it, last time I checked I was also a gunner sergeant.

It plays just like an old martial arts movie. Your dad owns this dojo and as you run home from school or whatever you see these guys in suites at your house. You walk to the dojo and you see your dad fighting this guy and he kills your father. Your to weak to beat the guy so the whole game you gotta learn new martial arts moves, solve puzzles, get a job and try to find out who and why they killed your father. Throughout you fight a bunch of guys too of course and thers so much to do it's insane. It's a very intricate game, def the best gmae for Dreamcast, which I love.

Exige you got me searching stuff for shenmue now lol. I just found out that the Yu Suzuki (the guy who pruduced and directed the game) will be busy for at least 5 years making shenmue online so he hasn't decided on whether or not to continue the series. Also, you are right, it is the most expensive game, it cost $70,000,000. At least we got shenmue online to look forward too.

I just got Crackdown for 360 and DDR:Universe.

Crackdown is by far the most addictive game I've played in awhile... being able to jump from buidling to building while whipping grenades left and right and picking up your enemies dead body and throwing it at another enemy all while you're in a totally free roaming world just gives you all the joys you had as a child.

Just completed - Splinter Cell Double Agent for the Nintendo Wii. I was a bit wary of getting this game after reading a review in a major Nintendo magazine that said although it was a great game in it's own right.... The controls badly let it down and made it average and frustrating.

I for one found the controls great and the sensitivity of the wii remote made sneaking and peering round corners all that bit more life like and more fun to me.

The aiming of course could let you down on occasions but in my opinion, it simply didn't effect the overall aesthetic of the game as much as some people said. Splinter cell is basically a stealth game so shooting for the most part isn't hugely important and even then the aiming is not hugely bad and still enjoyable.

The game itself is the best Splinter Cell yet, imo. The offering of choices during gameplay adds a lot more excitement during the course of the game and it makes it one hell of a ride. Add to this a great storyline and fabulous cut-scenes and you have a top notch game.

If you think you can get on board, with what is to some....not top notch controls ( i certainly could ) then i'd highly recommend this game to you.

It is now my second most enjoyable game to date on the Wii ( after Zelda: The Twilight Princess )

Pulled in out in anticipation for the upcoming one. Does get very tedious towards the end, but alls good, first half of the game makes upfor it. Probably around the 14th time I’ve completed now, such a sad bastard.

I really liked the story in it even if it was cheesy and unrealistic, fun enough game, better than expected.

I'm probably going to beat Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams tomorrow...I'm on the last stage.... I've already started playing Onimusha Warlords (the first Onimusha) and intend to beat within a weak because I rented it from Blockbuster..

At the start of the game you are robbing a train which you think carries currency but instead you accidentally let loose a vampire lord after blowing it's vault open in which the vampire bites you and you soon start to turn as you progress through the game. The neat thing about it is that you can choose to be evil or good and you gain powers for which ever you choose.

Really enjoyed this simply due to the nostalgic feelings I got while playing it, story was pretty good, a lot better than reviews made it out to be, ending was **** however.

I was about ready to just say **** the game but once I got past the learning curve its fun...

BTW-
Its the same game as Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater
It just has new Camera Angles and a 2nd Disc.
2nd Disc has The orginal NES Metal Gear (which I have the NES game) and the Japanese Metal Gear 2...

Also an Online version, however the Servers shut down on April 2nd (2007)....

Funny I just completed that game. But I got a thrid disc too, has a feature where you can just watch the game and see a clip of MSG4, the reason i'm getting a PS3.

Great game, storyline was really good...

I was very impressed....

The only problem I found is the begginning codec talk with the boss. I felt that was gunna last for ages.

was alot of fun, a different twist on Stealth Action, its more about disguises and what not which I thought was cool...Good story, good gameplay, awesome weapons....

That was a fun mission, I got the priests outfit, and his bible and did the wedding ceremoney, then retreated to the shed and sniped the groom through the window...

A flawed classic. I kept away from it for years after reading some highly critical reviews on it but after seeing the trailer for the sequel I had to get this one (t’was cheap to so all was good). The Helgast are repetitive and the AI was cheap but the story was superb.

This **** was awesome, amazing voice acting (especially from Mike Patton), great mafia story telling and the demonic atmosphere just epic. My only vice was how short the ****ing thing was. Was just as good as their last game, Escape fropm Butcher Bay which was my game of 2004 (yep, ahead of Halo 2 nd Half Life 2).

This must be a mightily fine game if you thought it was better than Half-Life 2, Liaison, me ol' mucker.

I beat God of War II yesterday. I beat 1 a while ago and loved it from the start so I rented part 2 and it was fantastic. God of War III is going to kick major ass.

Not intending to replay, and I've never been a big fan of Splinter Cell MP
Thoughts: While I do miss the classic Splinter Cell you have to remember that the game does have a story and the same old: "something bad happened, sneak in and fix" it routine was getting old. Refreshes gameplay and story adding new twists, can't wait for Convtion.

Its a bit overhyped...don't get me wrong its alot of fun, and the multiplayer adds hours of fun, but the campaign is short and even MP gets stale....Worth 60$ when it came out but by no means now (I rented :D)

Took me 22 hours to defeat all 4 game difficulties. While the multiplayer is pretty damn sweet, there’s no excuse in having a simple player mode that short (albeit epic).

its reallly a blast......a lil short, but if one game in history has succeded to make a game that resembles a movie without lossing its essence, its uncharted....and it has plenty of rewards and extras to make you come back for more....graphics are great, gameplay is great(mix of indiana jones with Tom Clancy's GRAW and Gears), great story, great acting.....i seriously enjoyed it thoroughly....oh and it has virtually no load times(except for the beggining...)

I finished Uncharted as well and Ratchet and Clank on the PS3.

I bought Assassin's but haven't played it yet coz I'm gonna save it for the LCD TV I expect to get this January (Superbowl deals).

I've got the 08 one on 360, whatever you do, DO NOT play it online it is the most frustrating feeling ever. You have to wait like 10 mins for the other guy to stop doing the same move on you and cant recover because he keeps on doing it. While you can only sit there button smashing your controller to pieces. :@

I Have just completed Uncharted and will probably pick up the Orange Box or Turning Point although i am not sure when its out does anybody know

Nah it doesnt suck but it kinda gets repetitive. I guess your right the best thing to do is to rent it, you'll be able to finish the game in a day or two anyway. Trust me its that short. To be honest i just bought the game coz it reminded me of the movie heat.

Really fun game
Beat it in just over 30 hours

However the final boss was ****ing hard as hell, took me at least 40 minutes (I used my alarm clock) to beat him...

Personally I like it but also Personally I rarely go back and replay games...I'm slowly replaying Mass Effect, and though its not as epic as the first playthrough, its still alot of fun...

Soldier is fun but I miss being able to use techs....It would've been cool to play as a soldier and been able to use the Assault Rifle with an infiltrator...

on a sidenote I'm planning to play it one or two more times after this soldier...I'm thinking Adept class and Vanguard Class in no order....We'll see how it goes

I beat Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, that **** is I'll, the only thing I really don't like is that you can't actually move all you do is aim and shoot you have no control over what rooms you enter. it's a good game because for every game besides Resident Evil 2 (not included) and Resident Evil 3 (not exactly how the story went) they give you tips and new facts about the story, it's a blend of Resident Evil 0, 1, 3 and Code Veronica accept part 3 and Code Veronica is different, for one they don't have Claire nor Leon and a lot of the mosters ain't accurate, like Mr. X from part 2 runs instead of walks and Nemesis from part 3 walks instead of runs, the lickers look mad funny, little tidbits that hardcore Resident Evil fans would notice might urk you, they definitely urked me but it's a decent game, a solid game and a must have for a Resident Evil fan who was ever curious in any way about 1st person shooters.

I'm into games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill (I also beat Silent Hill Origins), Countdown Vampires, The Suffering and games like that.. I'm also very much into Grand Theft Auto games, I beat all the ones on PS2 and beyond and also sports games, I'm good at fighting games as well like Mortal Kombat but I go more for Boxing games and sports, other than those it's the Resident Evil's and Silent Hill's, and also the free roam type of games like GTA and Scarface or mission based games like The Sopranos or Stuntman.. basically I'm very open to many games but I have my favorites.
