Hey all first off happy newyeear did anybody see pride??

After watchin ufc66, pride shockwwave was a good way to end one year and begin another..
Plenty of upsets filled with great fights I was quite impressed (as usual) nd look forward to the comming year of pride.. (hope they stay away from USA, NSAC rules blow)..
cant believe yoshida got worked, kawajiri blew the decision and i knew nakamura would give shogun a good fight... Curious though, whats next for fedor??
Happy to see nog redeem his loss to barnett. and man fuk fedor and his kimura. i wanted to see more of that fight(hunt/fedor) that was set for fireworks and defffinatly was promising until the sub.

I watched k-1 dynamite and seen a few upsets and few disapointments.specially in some mma matches.
if any one else want me to post spoilers and/or results just tell me or pm me.
I`ll just take a nap.

Just a brief rundown of what i remember..

Gilbert melendez fought a heart felt fight, took kawajiri to the dicision and won ligitimately IMO.. Great fight, the kid has heart and we had a good laugh at his hair do lol..

Megapunk, destroyed yoshida.. It was a good fight, yoshida got some licks in (ddin't see the whole fight) from what i saw it was back and forth until the stopppgge.. Looked as if yoshi broke a rib or somthin.. He was quite hurt att he end of it..

Gomi is a loser.. I mean it's ok to act like your the great when u fight a great fight or demolish your opponent.. But bouncin up and down for first min or so actuallyl makes u look quite stupid.... But thats just me.. Gomi won.

Fedor/hunt i predicted, it was good right up until hunt got caught in a submission.. Look like fedor tore his rotators cuff.

Shogun and nak was a great fight..I knew nak had heart, i actually wanted him to take it.. but the decision(yes decision) wnet to shogun he deserved it.

nog/barnett was kinda slow, wish nog brushed up on his standup before this one..nog got the decision but both took licks... tahts all that stix out in my mind that i can recall.

Oh ya, really missed wanderlei..

I thought Kawajiri won because he landed more punches and they were much more powerful.

I actually wanted Nakamura to take it as well. I think the guy fought like fighters should fight. I love technically skilled tacticians.

I wanted Fedor and Hunt to result in a knockout. Fedor is still the man. I think the next time Hunt might actually take Fedor out, if he is up to it.

And how about our boy...I can't remember his name, the one who made Fedor do the fish dance? He is fast and nimble for a big guy.

I assume you are referring to Kazuyuki Fujita. Anyways, I don't see Fedor being defeated for a while. The ultimate match for him right now would be another battle with Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.

Coming into the fight Fedor apparently had a broken toe. Hopefully that doesn't require surgery so we can see him destroy Jeff Monson on the upcoming BodogFIGHT card March 3rd in Russia.

Too bad the refereeing sucked so bad. Yoshida should have never have been literally drug into the middle of the ring by the ref just to let Thompson smash his face in. The fight should have been called. Also, Minowa getting soccer kicked in the head for no reason was pathetic too. Tamura was even upset about how the ref had let it happen. It's pretty bad when the opponent is pissed cause the ref let the fight go to long.

well imo hunt is getting good at grappling,though he is getting fatter :D
his only mistake is he triedto stand up from a kimura applied while he was at the bottom.I like the way when he takes those head shots.what a strong shin.

then gomis fight was simply brutal(I`m out of words.) but the way he hammered his opp. was like quinton saying you owe me money!!!

then hansen vs aoki.

it is hard to apply that hold even on plain grappling let alone on a mma match.hansen should had just pound to escape him.props to the rainbow tights that aoki wear.
