mic573 12-31-2006, 06:41 PM Forrest showed last night he had more heart than brains. There is nothing wrong with backing away to clear your head especially at the end of the round.
robot_monkey 01-01-2007, 03:06 PM Did you see him crying afterwards?
swhite10 01-01-2007, 08:00 PM I'd say UFC 66: Liddell vs. Ortiz II was an all around solid event. Lots of solid finishes and the announcement of Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic made my night.
I knew coming into the Jardine-Griffin fight that it had all the makings to be a slugfest. If anyone was going to get dropped it was Forrest and that was the case. Jardine has shown he has powerful kicks and strikes and he proved it Saturday night. That ground and pound was vicious but with the win Jardine moves one step closer to a shot at the belt. I totally agree with what mic573 said earlier in the thread as well.
I honestly wasn't too impressed with Michael Bisping Saturday night. He was in trouble quite a bit on the canvas and if that had have been a fighter like Renato "Babalu" Sobral he would have been finished. At one point he was almost finished with the arm triangle but he fought threw it. Besides that though he showcased some solid striking.
Jason MacDonald did exactly what I expected in the fight with Chris Leben. He worried me a few times when he rushed in for the takedown/clinch and he ate some of the wide left from Leben but otherwise he did exactly what I expected.
Bonafide 01-01-2007, 11:51 PM Jason Macdonald is the real deal.

Being Canadian I love seeing the local talent succeed. MMAWeekly has Jason MacDonald vs. Rich Franklin rumored for UFC 68. I like MacDonald but this is definitely a tough test for him.
what did forrest do after the fight that was so bad to having people in other mma forums say he should learn how to take a loss....what did he do?
After the fight Joe Rogan tried to interview Forrest and he just said "I got knocked the **** out, thats it." and then he basically left Rogan standing there not knowing what to do. Shortly after that he left the octagon and ran to the back.

After he loss...he started crying......the at the Joe Rogan interview, ALL he said was: "Keith came in and did exactly what i wanted to do and he knocked me the **** out. Lets go home."...then he walked away......came back to the mic and said..."I'll be back".....then ran backstage.......
