In the history of boxing, how many pairs of boxing brothers have there been?
Have they ever fought each other?
If so, what was the outcome?

Are Miguel Angel Cotto and Jose Miguel Cotto related?

I knew about those three.
I'm wondering if there are any other boxing brothers today.

I don't mind that the Klitschkos aren't fighting.
They aren't that exciting anyway, so they're fight together would probably be boring.
Not unlike a John Ruiz match.

Thank you for answering my question.
Do you think they will ever fight?
If so, who do you think will win?

That is a picture of myself.
I didn't want to leave that area blank and I couldn't find any good boxing pictures so I used a picture of myself.
I hope that is alright. :o

The best are the Cotto bros. I liked the Klits but then Wlad fell off the wagon...but Vit's still holding it down.

Niether has ever fought for a World Title, Hell I never even seen Jose fight.

Right now the Marquez brothers Juan and Rafeal are the best. Both are legit top 10 p4p guys

Doubtful...I see no reason for them to fight. Miguel is moving along at a much faster pace than his brother. By the time Miguel is taking on the big belt holders Jose should just be getting his tougher fights. I think Miguel will move up to 147/154/160 quite nicely in the future. I don't know about his bro though.

So who do you think would provide a serious challenge for Miguel Cotto?

I should have said that they are my favorite...not the best...although Miguel will be better than both Marquez bros at the end of their careers. :D

The Quarry brothers were involved in some pretty good fights in the Heavy (Jerry) and Lt. Heavy (Mike) divisions.

The Spinks Bros of course......one an all-time great Lt. Heavy and briefly a heavy(Michael) and the other VERY briefly a Heavyweight Champ but one good looking S.O.B. ( Smilin' Leon).

The Canizales brothers (Gaby and Orlando) both fought in the same division at the same time. Never fought each other though.

I really don't think there's ever been brothers that have fought a pro match. Sparring is one thing, but the mentality you need for an actual fight isn't something you want to be attempting against your brother.

BTW, Boxerdawg, Neon Leon was the man. He still makes appearances now and again at one of the local bars when he wants some free drinks.

JPW the funny thing with the Hattons is that Ricky is a Man City fan and his brother is a Man U fan. :D I bet the Manchester Derby matches are fun at their house.

yeah they showed a clip in the never ending hype that is sky boxing coverage of the two watching the game, needless to say the mighty red devils prevailed and Ricky was sulking . How much is for the camera of course you dunno but one assumes Ricky is a pretty avid fan coming into to Blue Moon and all that which is city's song.

Ricky is a big fan, i like Ricky alot as a person. You cannot wish to meet a more chilled dedicated boxing fan in England. After fights he likes a nice pint of Guiness to relax with :D
