There are alot of rappers out there that also produce tracks and vice versa. Who do you guys think is the best duo skilled performer overall?
Ill have to say dj quik is the best producer and rapper. His constant with the rhymes and beats. And the worst has to be eminem. He needs to just stick to rhymes he cant produce for s#$t.

Really? I disagree. I think hes silly with a lot of his songs and rhymes, but I think hes above average lyrically and has a good flow.

Rosewood is an idiot...go and look at every single one of Dre's albums and look at who wrote it. S.Carter aka Jay-Z wrote Still D.R.E. if you didn't know, and Royce Da 5'9'' and Crooked I write most of his rhymes.

As for Kanye, he isn't really good at anything I don't even like a lot of his beats they are mad overhyped, they repeat the same words throughout the song Dipset-style. And Kanye's ghostwriter is Rhymefest and (I think) Consequence. Lil' Wayne's ghost was in a XXL a couple issues ago, can't remember the name. Dre's are Royce, Crooked I, even Jay-Z like I said.

Yeah its well known that Dre has ghostwriters.

And I must be crazy if Big Daddy Kane didn't Ghost-write "Keep their heads ringing" by Dre Dre. Either that or they switched brains for a week. Oh and some rappers just couldn't get away with using Ghost -writers; their style is too ideosyncratic. If for example Nas started using a ghost writer everyone would know it.

you stupid if you believe ghostwriters wrote EVERY Dre hit..yo just plain stupid..I frankly dont give a damn what you like about Kanye...I simple said he and MOST of the artist from any genre has/had ghostwriters..like you said, the back of most CD's will tell you everything. But what about the cats that are paid under the table to keep quiet??...Most of Dre **** was not him, but some was, so he is my pick...sorry if that makes you dudes mad.....So called Hip Hop GODs of Boxingscene..

Did anyone write 'Keep Their Heads Ringin' for Dr. Dre?

How ****ing awesome is that. Lyrics are pretty sick too.

I'd say the RZA, although sometimes his poor timing used to annoy the hell out of me, especially when sandwiched between U-God and Inspecktah Deck on 'Its Yourz'...

You can't compare Dre with the likes of Warren G, DJ Quik or RZA. You just can't. These guys make their beats from SCRATCH while Dre needs the help of Storch, Elizondo, Mel-Man, Daz (G-Funk, Deathrow times).

Dre is nothing but a co-producer, he's no better then Puffy or Irv Gotti. Everything he produced with Ruthless was with Yella, The Chronic and Doggystyle was co-produced with Daz, Keep Their Heads Ringin and Natural Born Killaz was done with Sneed & Clinton, and all his new **** (Aftermath) is a mix of Storch, Elizondo, and Mel-Man.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Dre is nothing but a fake and a phony. He doesn't even smoke weed yet he bases a whole album around it. Eazy E said he used to cry in the studio back in the day:owned:

I used to have mad respect for him but his rep has taken a definite tumble in my books.

Most MC's write their own rhymes. If "very few in the industry" did, why wouldnt the huge amount of Ghostwriters be an artist and say '****' whoever they're writing for? Most ghostwriters already have careers, and only ghostwrite for people like dre and diddy for money. If Kanye has a ghost writer, he needs a better one.

Hahah come on though dre has 2 albums (aftermath comp and group lps dont count) and production on those albums has been shared with alot of producers that dont get credit and his raps ghost written by alot of rappers. He does change some stuff to the rhymes he has been given but yeah he doesnt write much at all. I do like his albums but yeah im just saying he takes too long to bring out albums that his only doing half the work on.
