A friend of mine from Ghana says that newspapers there have mentioned the return to the ring of this once mighty fighter. (You heard it here first! :))

A lot of ppl believed that he won that fight against Oscar, but Ike hasn't been able to prove his naysayers wrong by being away from the ring.

Would he still make an impact?

Hard to say, he would be what, like 35? It would be interesting to see what hes got left. Maybe the layoff could help him fight a couple more years.

At 35 years old and at that weight could be risly. Each fighter is individual to whetther there bodies can handle comebacks at those ages. Some fighters grow old before there time but i hope it's not the case with Bazooka

worse still ive heard john mugabi wants one last fight, with his eye problems of the past and the fact he is 43 I think, could be potentially disastrous.

Surely they wouldn't sanction that would they? Although that maybe a dumb question to ask since they let Bowe comeback, Holyfield go on and Meldrick Taylor continue.

I really hope so, this is not the first time I've heard this - could be true. He could really bang and at his best would be a threat to most.
