I didn't bother to order or download the even (like I do with most ICON shows)

But I'm still shocked about how I heard it ended.

A rematch needs to be made, and it's a shame that Lawler is in Pride now, cause I'd love for him to knock Trigg the **** out. Lawler is making a lot more money now though, so it's cool.

Lawler doesn't fight for Pride (exclusively). He was just offered a fight on account of their (DSE's) search for American faces for their first American card. In fact, Lawler was scheduled to fight at the Icon card where Mayhem/Trigg fought for the Middleweight title. The word from TJ is that it'll be Trigg/Lawler for the Championship in the next Icon.

Also, Mayhem is not a Welterweight anymore, so he wouldn't fight Diaz at 170.

From what I've heard, Lawler had signed a 4 fight deal after his impressive showing.

I hope he does end up fighting Trigg though one way or the other.
