i could have sworn i heard that Nog and Sapp were gonna rematch. any light on this? anyone know if that was a rumor or if it may actually be happening again?

fill me in...

i think Nog would take home the win again, but i think that it would be ALOT harder than the last time as I am sure that Sapp is training harder in areas that Nog is 100% in.

Minotauro said he won't fight Sapp again unless he gets paid $1,000,000. I can't say that I blame him.

I do not blame him either. and as usual i am clueless

**** no. that was prob the toughest fight in his carreer. i would want a million also to have the 50/50 chance of loosing and having my belt stripped.

Didn't Nog say something about Sapp should earn a rematch by fighting other good heavyweigths like Heat Herring or Mark Coleman...?

And Sapp sure got a chans. But if they dont do "cut-checks" in the first time he will probably gas out earlier. Sapp got saved by those in the first round of their first match IMO.

they were only rumors but i wouldent be surprised if they fight in a year, but not to soon Hoost really ****ed Sapp up in their Gp match, even thoguh Sapp "won" he came out the real loser

But as Tanner said everythings got a price

ya think?

i mean Sapp is a big boy, and i am sure it is alot harder to throw his weight around.

how did u think the fight should have gone?

The problem with MMA and boxing is that the Champ almost gets to decide who he fights. He can just flat out refuse to fight Sapp and nothing is going to be done. Im not saying that Nog isnt the best, but he seems to be pricing himself out of the fight. Say Sapp becomes the #1 contender, then what? Nog still gonna ask for a million or walk?

Tanner Rhoden

Methodist, he already beat Sapp. He has beaten everyone that Pride has put in front of him. All of them are top ten guys I might add. No easy fights. I think a rematch should be up to Minotauro for sure. If they don't pay him what he wants, then he shouldn't fight Sapp again. Pride owes him

He should fight josh barnett.

i can understand both sides, more so that nog should get what he wants cause he has defeated the undeatable. atleast what we all thought would be against him.

I would rather see Nog vs. Fedor, or vs. Barnett before a Rematch against Bob Sapp. Besides, Takayama is going to beat the crap out of Sapp. You can't just walk up to Taka and throw water at his face, It wasn't right and Taka is gonna own his ass for doing that. :lol3: :lol2:

Plus we have ricco wanting nog too. I guess when your number one, everybody wants some.

Pride owes Nog nothing. Nog gets what he is owed in the form of money, money which he has been paid. I think that if Sapp somehow works his way up to the #1 contender, than it is selfish of Nog to price himself out of the fight on purpose.

What makes you think that Pride won't pay him what he wants? A rematch would mean HUGE ratings there and here.

Again, it's not like he's running away from Sapp........he already beat him.

I agree with that kid Tanner, he already beat Sapp. He doesn't have to prove himself to anybody. He has to fight Fedor and Barnett now.

the last thing nog has to do is prove anything.

Methodist

Nobody said Nog has to prove a thing, and I'm not arguing that he isn't the best. However, Pride doesn't owe Nog anything either. And Nog should fight guys he is told to fight. He works for Pride. If Sapp proves himself the #1 challenger (IF I said) then Nog should fight him, and not expect anymore than he would for fighting anyone else.

Like I said before, the man with the golden locks, Takayama is gonna put a stop to Sappmania. Remember my words.

pride OWES nog. sure he gets paid, but they get paid ALOT more than he does. Pride has the BIGGEST crowd! and if he can fill up the audience by his signing then they owe him big time! if not, then they will have a smaller crowd and not as much money....

i can see both opinions, but Nog is Pride's baby right now... its who everyone gocks at.... him and Sapp. If they gave the crowd this opportunity to do this again.... it would be HUGE.

Nog v Yoshida and Sapp v Yoshida would be big money for pride to. And while these fight have not happen before, like Nog v Sapp. I'd like to se them before we see Nog v Sapp again. But most of all (of course) I want to see Nog v Fedor, Nog v Barnett or Nog v Ricco (like all of us I guess). But I'm not the average japanese fan, so I guess what I think doesnt really matter :)

Sapp must fight at least three fighters that Mino did ... Coleman, Heath, Gary, Enson, Henderson and Schilt before he can face Mino again.

for ricco and nog... one of them would have to break their contract to fight one another right?

I don't know what kind of contracts they got with UFC/Pride, but I guess you are right. My bad.

In a distant future there is a big chance they will fight I guess, they are both young. But I guess we're talking "close future" :) here.

he shouldn't have to fight sapp until sapp proves himself worthy...and Nog has said that if Sapp beats everyone that he has beaten he will give him a rematch...

I would like to see Sapp take on Erickson, Coleman, Herring among others before getting another go at Nog.

If he beats them and becomes top contender, then Nog will and should fight him I am sure
