Strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune has a confident feeling about Manny Pacquiao's ability to overcome WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Fortune had previously been a part of Pacquiao's team, but he had a falling out with head trainer Freddie Roach in 2007. He was then replaced by Alex Ariza, who was fired by Roach last year. Now the old trio is back together and Fortune expects a very positive result from their reunion.
"It's good to be back with Manny and Freddie, my friends and my mates. When me, Manny and Freddie work together - we're winning. Bradley wants the old Manny, so we're going to give him the old Manny. We're going to give Manny his strength and his speed back. His conditioning will come and we'll continuously change things up [in training], because he's 35 and training gets boring," Fortune said.
