Fortuna-Rodriguez Set For May 31 on HBO Latino

Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz has confirmed to BoxingScene.com that all three of the main fights have been finalized for the May 31 HBO Latino/HBO2 televised card from the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The event will be co-promoted by Sampson Boxing and Lou DiBella.

Lewkowicz has put the finishing touches on a super featherweight match between hard-hitter Javier Fortuna (24-0-1, 18KOs) and Juan Antonio Rodriguez (26-4, 23KOs).

The two other featured attractions include former champion Sergio Mora (25-3-2, 8KOs) facing Samuel Rogers (14-1, 8KOs), and Orlando Del Valle (18-1, 13KOs) in a high stakes battle with undefeated Luis Rosa (16-0, 7KOs).

Also on the card, super featherweight Rocco Santomauro (11-0, 1KO), super featherweight Melinda Cooper (22-2, 11KOs), super featherweight Juan Huertas (7-0, 6KOs) and the pro debut of super featherweight Jaime Arboleda.

Macau card will be on early in morning Froch/GorvesII is in afternoon then Latino card is at night should space out well.

Fortuna just has to dedicate himself to the sport more keep his weight in check and he will be fine he's a good lil fighter..

Fortuna is a good fighter he just needs a big name to take the fight and let this kid work his speed !!
