Foreman vs Wolak Likely For Cotto-Mayorga Card

By Lem Satterfield

A junior middleweight battle is being disucssed between contender Pawel Wolak and former world champion Yuri Foreman. The fight, should it get finalized, will take place on the undercard of a March 12 pay per view event, which features Miguel Cotto defending his WBA 154-pound title in the main bout against Ricardo Mayorga. The card takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Wolak (28-1, 18 knockouts) and Foreman (28-1, eight KOs) will be part of the pay-per-view broadcast, says Top Rank CEO Bob Arum. The fight is close to being made.

"That fight is being discussed and being negotiated," Arum said. "Hopefully, by the end of the day, that will be put to rest."

sounds like a crap card on paper. who knows what will happen though, sometimes top rank cards can surprise you. for now, if hbo is still reserving the same date for martinez, ill be watching that.
