Floyd Mayweather Jr. selective with his punch output, throwing 31% fewer punches than wgt. class avg. (he landed around the wgt. class avg.) As a result, opponents landed just 8 punches per round, 58% fewer than agt. class avg. Mayweather landed nearly half his power punches- 9% higher than wgt. class avg. Mayweather outlanded opponents better than 2-1 in total punches, 3-1 in jabs and nearly 2-1 in power punches.
