Retired former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) took to social media to send a message to the critics, and to the rival fighters who are calling him out.

From the moment he walked away from the ring, the rumors have continued to circulate that he might come out of retirement to pursue is 50th professional victory.

In the last few weeks, there has been a lot of speculation that Mayweather might come out of retirement for a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. They faced off last May in the most lucrative fight in boxing history - and Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision. The event generated over $600 million in revenue.

The speculation was heavily fueled when Mayweather unexpectedly showed up to the Thomas & Mack Center earlier this month to sit ringside for Pacquiao's victory over Jessie Vargas to capture the WBO welterweight title. Pacquiao is planning to return in April or May and hopes that it's going to involve a potential rematch with Mayweather.

Mayweather once again doubled-down on his intention to stay retired.

"Gotta love these backseat drivers so worried about another man's legacy instead of trying to write their own. Ultimately, I will always have the last laugh. This is just one of my many checks, a cool $100,000,000.00 that I still have every dime of. Y'all still have to work however, I'm happily retired. At the end of the day, it's them Benjamin Franklins that matter to me, so the joke's on you," Mayweather wrote.

"I've made smart investments, sorry for those who thought that I couldn't read, write, or count. Y'all call them watches, I call them time pieces. Y'all call them boats, I call them yachts. Y'all call them houses, I call them mansions. Y'all charter jets and we own jets."
