WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is brushing off talk that Manny Pacquiao was hindered by a right shoulder injury during last Saturday's twelve round decision loss at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather says he entered the fight with two hurt hands and two hurt shoulders. Pacquiao and his team are demanding a rematch, which Mayweather is willing to grant next year. Pacquiao is undergoing shoulder surgery in Los Angeles and is likely going to be out of the ring until next year.

Mayweather found Pacquiao to be an easy opponent and saw him winning no more than three rounds in the contest.

"I knew I was beating him easy. I probably gave him three rounds. Call it 9-3; it wasn't a difficult fight," Mayweather told fighthype.com.

"It was easy, but he's a good fighter he's a solid competitor. It's not how you win, it's as long as you win. This fight was just another fight to me. I don't gotta go to no club, I don't have to celebrate."

Mayweather is planning to return to action in September. At Saturday's final press conference, he said the contest would be his last. Now with the prospect of a rematch with Pacquiao, it leaves the door open for Mayweather to surpass Rocky Marciano's 50-0 record.
