| Fernando Montiel a Free Agent? Looking For Offers?

By Miguel Rivera Former three division champion Fernando "Cochulito" Montiel (44-3, 34KOs) has been stating in the social networks that his promotional "contract has expired" and that "he's a free agent" who is "willing to listen to offers." Montiel has been recovering from February's two round knockout to Nonito Donaire. Montiel does not specify which promotional contract has expired. He could make good $$ with GBP. Since Donaire as an opponent is out of the picture for MARES....I say Mares/Montiel sounds good. Montiel can also be used on Alvarez undercards. |
