BoxingScene has been informed that middleweight contender Fernando Guerrero (23-1, 18KOs) will be making his return to the ring on July 14th on the Amir-Khan vs. Danny Garcia undercard as he will take on Jose Medina.

This will be the first fight since Guerrero suffered a partially torn bicep injury that sidelined him and caused him to pull out of the April 20th edition of Shobox where he was scheduled to fight Chris Fitzpatrick.

Guerrero is currently training at the Ten Goose Gym in Van Nuys, CA with head trainer Ricky Funez.
