The August 9th edition of Unimas' Solo Boxeo series was supposed to feature Andy Ruiz Jr. in the main event against veteran Nagy Aguilera with Ivan Najera-Stan Martyniouk serving as the co-feature.

Top Rank recently released a statement saying that Ruiz pulled out of the fight due to an illness in his family and that Jose Felix Jr. (26-1-1, 21KOs) would step in against an opponent to determined.

One man's misfortune is another man's opportunity. Felix suffered his first career loss lost to WBA interim junior lightweight champion Bryan Vasquez in his last fight which took place in April.

Felix struggled to make weight and is excited to get back in the ring and have a chance to redeem himself.

"I'm very happy to be getting back in the ring. The loss left a bad taste in my mouth. I am a winner and I'm used to winning. That loss really hurt and on August 9th I will be back in the winner'a column," Felix told BoxingScene.com.
