Felix Sturm Vows: I Will Beat Darren Barker Clearly!

Today's Sturm vs Barker Presser.

Felix Sturm: "I believe I'll beat him clearly. I have great experience in big fights and I'm in fantastic shape. Trust me, my time is far from over and whoever thinks I'm done is making a big mistake. I re-dedicated myself to the sport I love and it payed off. I had no trouble making weight. I'm as fit as they come. He'll be in for a surprise on Saturday night. I can't wait!"

Darren Barker: "There is zero chance I will lose this fight. I know what I have to do to beat Felix, who has been a great champ, but it's my time. It wasn't long ago that I won and I'm defending nice and early which is great. I want a long and active reign as champion."

Fritz Sdunek, Trainer Felix Sturm: "We had a great camp, Felix is in amazing shape. On Saturday, he'll make history and become Germany's first four time world champion."

Tony Sims, Trainer Darren Barker: "The styles are going to gel, they're both intelligent fighters and Darren is looking forward to his first defence."

SD is almost assured. Even when Sturm clearly loses (Geale, Macklin) it winds up a split decision at home

I actually think he will. He sorted out problems with weight and he should be 100%. when sturm is fully ready he is a better fighter than barker.

I am going to put money on a Felix KO win.I had really hoped to see Murray vs Barker with a belt on the line, but I'll be happy to see the match up regardless of a bet being on the…
