Junior welterweight contender Sergey Fedchenko (30-1, 13 KOs) expects a very difficult fight on April 14th against Juan Manuel Marquez at the new Arena Mexico in Mexico City. Fedchenko is nicknamed "The Professor" for his in-ring ability to technically figure out his opponents. Marquez, a former three division world champion, is looking to capture his fourth title by beating Fedchenko. They battle for the interim-WBO junior welterweight title. Fedchenko wants to crush Marquez's dream with a big surprise of his own.

"To fight against Marquez - its a great honor for me. I am happy that Juan gave me this opportunity. I know that I can surprise Marquez. He is a wonderful counter-puncher, but I'm technical, smart and fast. That's why my nickname is "The Professor." I saw his last fight with Pacquiao. He showed class. But I also saw Marquez's fight with Mayweather, and Floyd beat him with speed and using his technical skills," Fedchenko said.

"Marquez is very clever - but so am I. Can I beat him on the scorecards? Probably not. Therefore, I must always be active. I'm going to take risks and give Marquez such an amazing fight. Now the main thing is to prepare well. This is the most important fight of my life. This is my first fight for the championship, and my opponent is Juan Manuel Marquez. It's unbelievable."
