Farenas-Davis Approved as IBF Eliminator For July 2

The International Boxing Federation has approved Michael Farenas (38-4-4, 30KOs) vs. Mark Davis (18-0, 5KOs) as an IBF junior lightweight eliminator for the number two position in the rankings. The fight is scheduled for July 2 at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connectucut. Farenas is currently ranked at number 4, while Davis is ranked at number 11.
