Evgeny Gradovich will likely return to the ring on May 31st in Macau, China, Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler told Boxingscene.com on Monday afternoon.
Gradovich will likely defend his IBF featherweight title on the same card where Simpiwe Vetyeka will defend his WBA featherweight title against Nonito Donaire. No word yet on whom Gradovich will fight.
Should Gradovich appear on the card, it will mark the third time in a row the popular Russian-born fighter will fight in Macau.
In his last outing on November 24th, Gradovich (18-0, 9 KOs) stopped Billy Dib in the ninth round of a rematch that Gradovich had won by split decision over 12 rounds.
Gradovich now lives and trains in Oxnard, CA.
