Eubank Jr: Mayweather-McGregor is a Once in a Lifetime Fight

Floyd Mayweather Jr's fight with Conor McGregor has got the whole world talking, according to Chris Eubank Jr, and he cannot wait to watch the blockbuster bout on Saturday.

Mayweather has come out of retirement to put his unblemished 49-0 record on the line against UFC star McGregor, the pair going toe-to-toe in Las Vegas this weekend.

The fight has split opinion throughout the boxing world but Eubank - who has been training alongside the American in preparation for his own fight with Avni Yildirim in October - is very much in favour of the spectacle taking place.

And the IBO super-middleweight champion believes this fight will be the biggest of Mayweather's career, eclipsing his battle with Manny Pacquiao.

"It's been hectic man. Every day the gym is packed and everybody is holding their breath - nobody really knows what is going to happen," he told Omnisport.

"A lot of people are sure Floyd is going to win, but it's the uncertainty of what Conor is going to do in that ring that's got people excited, worried, talking.

"Nobody really knows how this fight is going to play out.

"And that's why I believe numbers wise it's going to do even bigger numbers than Pacquiao because the hype, the theatre.

"I was at these press conferences man, it was crazy, they were filling out arenas for press conferences. It's unheard of.

"This is literally a once in a lifetime fight out here and it's been an honour to be part of the last part of his [Floyd Mayweather's] training camp."

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor is a 12-round super welterweight matchup that pits the legendary boxer Mayweather against the all-time MMA great McGregor in the main event of an unprecedented four-fight pay-per-view boxing event.  Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, Aug. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.  The event is produced and distributed live by SHOWTIME PPV, promoted by Mayweather Promotions and sponsored by Corona.

I hope the arrogant one is right for once and it is a once in a lifetime event. Must say that all the other fights on the bill look like good competitive fights.......unlike the circus show main.

The only way this can be a real fight as of McGregor connects and then it could be over but it's the uncertainty but I have been noticing with interest the past three days the odds just keep getting closer…

Once in a lifetime fight? Sorry, but Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey already put on a better circus show.

[QUOTE=TreJac;17972935]Why is Eubank Jr promoting the Floyd/Conor fight so hard? Its almost as if he's on the under card! I know he spent some time training at Floyds gym recently but is he about to be apart of TMT? Conor…
