British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (22-1, 17KOs) feels very confident that he's capable of beating WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs).

Eubank defends his British title on June 25th against unbeaten Tom Doran (17-0). The fight will be part of the Anthony Joshua-Anthony Breazeale undercard at the O2 Arena in London.

Golovkin is in talks to face Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) in the fall, but very few believe the fight is going to come through. Canelo was ordered by the World Boxing Council to defend his belt against Golovkin. Their talks hit a curve last week, when Canelo vacated his title and the sanctioning body named Golovkin as their new champion.

Eubank has been studying Golovkin and believes that he's got what it takes to beat the feared puncher.

"I've watched his style. I've seen the holes in his game and I'm not afraid of him, and that's important - because these guys get in the ring with him and they are beaten before the fight is even started. I see holes in his game. He's slow. He doesn't have a defense. He's easy to hit. He's got great power but that's not enough to beat me. He'll hit me with a shot and I'll say 'what? what's next?' The guys he fights with get hit and they [just give up] because they don't want to get hit again," Eubank told BoxingScene.com's Declan Taylor.

Eubank recently signed a multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport. According to Eubank, there are ongoing discussions with K2 Promotions, who handle Golovkin, to make a fight in the fall.

"Eddie says he is in talks with them and things are looking positive. We could get this fight at the end of the year. That's what we want. That's what we're working towards," Eubank said.

As far as the fight location, Eubank would like to fight Golovkin on UK soil - where he believes the fight will draw the most money.

"I'm British. He's not American. Does it make sense do the fight in America? Probably not. Financially, it would make the most sense to have it here [in the UK]. It would be amazing to have such a great fight over here in front of the British fans," Eubank said.
