| Erislandy Lara-Ronald Hearns To Battle on February 11th?
|
|
By David "Los Gatos" Rosenberg Sources close to the situation have advised BoxingScene.com that junior middleweight Erislandy Lara (15-1-1, 10KOs) could very well end up facing Ronald Hearns (26-2, 20KOs) on January 21st, which is a Showtime televised doubleheader. Hearns has been inactive since challenging Felix Sturm for the WBA middleweight title in February. He was stopped in seven rounds. Months later he was scheduled to face WBC champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who withdrew from the contest with a hand injury. Former champions Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz would battle in the main event. Tags: Erislandy Lara , Ronald Hearns , Lara-Hearns , Lara vs Hearns |
