MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Jose Morales, the father and trainer of former three division world champion Erik Morales, has expressed some concern over Pablo Cesar Cano being trained by Rudy Perez. Jose alleges that Rudy's fighters, like Marco Antonio Barrera and Marcos Maidana, use dirty tricks in the ring and he wants the referee to keep a close eye on Cano.

Morales-Cano takes place on the Floyd Mayweather-Victor Ortiz undercard on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Erik is going for his fourth world title and he should win the fight because he always prepares a 100% and climbs into the ring to offer his best boxing. But, the fighters being trained by Rudy Perez, like Marco Barrera and Maidana, hit him in the neck and used elbows, and used other dirty tricks. I want the referee to be fair and the judges to be fair," Jose Morales said.
