By Miguel Rivera

Four-division world champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales has confirmed the recent reports in Mexico, which stated the fighter was undergoing surgery on Wednesday morning for a gallbladder issue. Morales was taken to the hospital after feeling pain and discomfort. The boxer is hoping for a speedy recovery and he's focused on moving forward with a planned defense of his WBC junior welterweight title on January 28th against undefeated Danny Garcia at Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas.
