According to Jose Morales, father and trainer of WBC junior welterweight champion Erik Morales, British boxer Anthony Crolla is one of boxers being considering for a planned return in the month of December. Morales plans to return in December in Mexico, with Tijuana being the frontrunner city. Morales and Crolla were scheduled to fight each other on September 17, as part of the Floyd Mayweather-Victor Ortiz undercard in Las Vegas, but the boxers were shuffled apart into separate fights.

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Morales plans to fight in December, and then he'll possibly drop down to 135-pounds to achieve a career goal of winning a fifth world title. Morales wants to face the winner of Jorge Linares-Antonio DeMarco, who clash on October 15th for the vacant WBC lightweight title. Morales has a goal of retiring in 2013.
