Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Heavyweight prospect Eric Molina (18-1, 14KOs) knocked out Warren Browning (14-2-1, 9KOs) in the third round. Molina started slow in the first, but then he put Browning down twice in the second and once more in the third before the referee waved it off.

In his junior welterweight debut, prospect Angelo Santana (11-0, 8KOs) destroyed previously undefeated Ramzan Adaev (8-1, 7KOs) in two rounds. In the second, Adaev was getting battered against the ropes to such a degree that referee Kenny Bayless actually gave him a standing eight it appeared. Soon after, Santana pounded him into the ground for the stoppage.
In an eight round super lightweight encounter, Carlos Molina (14-0-1, 7KOs) fought Juan Manuel Montiel (6-4-3, 1KOs) to a majority draw. In the sixth round, Molina suffered a cut around his left ear. The scores were 78-74 for Molina, 77-75 for Montiel and 76-76 for the draw.
