Emanuel Steward, trainer for WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, is not impressed with David Haye's pre-fight intimidation tactics. Over the last week, the war of words has reached a new critical level between Haye and Klitschko. Steward believes Haye is doing a lot of talking because the British fighter is actually very afraid. Klitschko and Haye will collide this coming Saturday in a stadium located in Hamburg, Germany.

“Wladimir looks into David’s eyes when he talks all that mess and just sees fear. It’s Haye who’s scared to death. When he (Haye) is standing in the ring come fight night, and he sees this huge man in a red robe coming out of the tunnel, surrounded by smoke, with big brother Vitali standing directly behind his (Wlad’s) shoulder wanting to get at him, all these emotions are going to spawn reality. And as I like to say, ‘Welcome to the lion’s den David,'" Steward told boxinginsider.com.

There's no doubt Haye is scared, the only question is to what degree. He's definitely in the lion's den.

David Haye has backed himself up into a wall. He's talked a lot of **** all through the fight process and if he doesn't put on a great performance, he's more irrelevant than I thought. What brought him to the dance was his mouth, hopefully he'll back it up cuz nobody wants to see Wlad fight a pun...
They said HE was scared to death back in 1964 because of his trash talk and erratic behaviour at the weigh in, but when they met mid-ring for the ref's instructions Cassius Marcellus Clay said to Liston, "Got you now, sucker." And so it proved.
Sorry but David Haye is ...
