Emanuel Augustus, (38-33-6) whom Floyd Mayweather Jr. once said gave him his toughest fight, announced that this Saturday's bout versus undefeated Vernon Paris (23-0) on the undercard of Tim Bradley-Devon Alexander will be his final fight. The fight takes place at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan.

Augustus is stepping in for the injured Tim Coleman.

Augustus entertained fans for many years and is well known for his eclectic fighting style and also for coming up on the wrong end of questionable decisions on numerous occasions.
Vernon is gonna beat down the drunken master Saturday.
Regardless of what occurs in the ring on Saturday, Vernon Paris wil NEVER be an Augustus. 76 professional prize fights in a modern era career. Wow. He has provided a multitude of pugilistic thrills that are remarkable. ...
