BoxingScene.com previously reported that a battle of undefeated super featherweights Eloy Perez (19-0) and Luis Cruz (17-0) was going to take place in Tacoma on February 18th. The bout was going to be headline the Solo Boxeo series that is broadcast on the network Telefutura. 

The bout was so supposed to be sanctioned by the WBO as an eliminator bout. BoxingScene has learned that the WBO wouldn't sanction the bout as an eliminator and Perez will now face Roger "Speedy" Gonzales (27-3) at Fishermans Warf Hall in San Francisco. The bout will still headline on Telefutura.

BoxingScene has been advised that the eliminator bout between Perez and Cruz will be revisited for an April date provided both fighters keep their undefeated records.
