Eloy Perez Goes Golden Boy, Sparring With Shane Mosley

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com has learned that unbeaten super featherweight Eloy "The Prince" Perez has signed a five year promotional deal with Golden Boy Promotions.  Perez (16-0-2) fights out of Salinas, Calif. with the Garcia Boxing camp.

Perez has been sparring with "Sugar" Shane Mosley in Big Bear, helping the WBA welterweight champion prepare for his bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 1, which airs live on pay-per-view from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The 23-year old USNBC super featherweight champion is scheduled to appear on the non-televised undercard.
