Will there be a rematch of the 'Fight of The Century'? Don't hold your breath.

The two boxers collided back on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision with few problems. There was post-fight controversy after Pacquiao revealed that he entered the contest with a right shoulder injury.

The fight broke every possible financial record for boxing. It generated nearly half a billion in revenue. There were 4.4 million pay-per-view purchases. Mayweather walked away with a reported $300 million dollars from the match.

Pacquiao wants the rematch badly. His promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank has raised the possibility of the rematch happening in 2016 - if Mayweather continues to fight.

Ellerbe, during an interview with Sports Illustrated, was asked if there was "any scenario" where Mayweather could consider the possibility of a rematch with Pacquiao.

"Absolutely not," was Ellerbe's response.

Mayweather claims that his fight against Andre Berto on Saturday night, at the MGM Grand, will be the final contest of his career.

Ellerbe was then asked in a different format, if Mayweather would unretired at some point for a Pacquiao rematch, to make another monster payday. That scenario was also ruled out by Ellerbe.

"Well, in Floyd's case it's a little different - because a lot of fighters have come back mostly for the money. Floyd has generated hundreds of millions of dollars. He's set for generations. He's done everything that he possibly could [while] boxing these many years and it's just time to ride off into the sunset," Ellerbe said.
