Dominican boxer Elio Rojas (23-1, 14KOs) has intensified his training for his mandatory showdown with the featherweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Jhonny Gonzalez (51-7, 45KOs). Rojas is currently training in Pennsylvania, within the United States, and he feels very confident about winning this match. Although no site or date has been announced, the fight is being pushed to take place in the month of March in either Mexico, New York of Texas.

"I do not mind the location. I'm used to traveling to the home of my opponents and I've always emerged triumphant. The most important thing is the preparation for the fight and I am preparing to return to my country with the title," said Rojas.

Looking forward to this fight. I remember when Rojas was lined up to fight Gamboa but pulled out with an injury. This is like what Soto was for Guzman. I know Rojas is a bit good but let's see how good he really is.
