BoxingScene.com has been advised that Russian light heavyweight Egor Mekhontsev, who won a gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, is slated to make his pro debut on the Guillermo Rigondeaux-Joseph Agbeko undercard on December 7th, likely at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.  Mekhontsev has big amateur wins over Alexander Usyk (also a 2012 gold meal winner), Damien Hooper, Marcus Browne and several others. He recently agreed to a promotional deal with Top Rank.
