Edwin Rodriguez Decisions Will Rosinksy Over Ten

By Chris LaBate

MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut - In a very exciting battle between two undefeated super middleweight prospects, Edwin Rodriguez (20-0, 14KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Will Rosinksy (14-1, 8KOs). All three judges had it 100-90 for Edwin Rodriguez. The fight was very close and fought on very even terms in many of the rounds. Rosinsky appeared to win several rounds, so the scores were a bit strange with all three judges scoring every single round for Rodriguez.

In the Showtime televised co-feature, Gabriel Bracero (18-0, 3 KOs) won a lopsided ten round unanimous decision over Daniel Sostre (11-5-1, 4KOs) to capture the vacant NABF junior welterweight title. The scores were were 100-90, 99-91, 100-90. Sostre drops his second in a row and is now 0-2-1 in his last three.
