Edgardo Lopez- Miguel Soto Clash on 2/1, Boxeo Boricua

Undefeated WBC's CABOFE super featherweight champion, Edgardo "Sasso" López (8-0-1, 4KOs) is ready to take on the biggest challenge of his career when he steps into the ring with hard puncher Miguel "Mikito" Soto (12-1, 12KOs) in an 8 round fight that showcases the season opener of the successful "Boxeo Boricua WAPA 2 Deportes" 2014 season presented by Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment, in association with Top Rank on Saturday, February 1st from the Roger Mendoza Coliseum in Caguas, Puerto Rico.

"This a great show that we have put together for the fans; Sasso is facing his biggest test to date against Mikito Soto. It's definitely a great fight", promoter Héctor Soto said.

Also in action, KO artist and local heavyweight attraction Carlos "Chicano" Cotto will make his 2014 return after finishing 2013 with 5 fights. Top mini flyweight and undefeated prospect Angel "Tito" Acosta (5-0, 5KOs) takes on former world title contender Omar "Pastor" Soto in a 6 round bout.

Boxeo Boricua WAPA 2: SASSO VS. MIKITO will be televised live on WAPA 2 Deportes in Puerto Rico and for the United States on WAPA America and is presented by Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment, in association with Top Rank.
