Edgar Sosa Says Third Time's The Charm With Solis

Between the two of them, they have fought in 27 world title fights and fought twice in the past - with decision victories coming down for Ulises "Archie" Solis in both matches. But a trilogy bout has been scheduled for March 9 in Mexico. The WBC has confirmed the match as a final flyweight eliminator.

Sosa (47-7, 28 KOs) was beaten by Solis (35-3-2, 22 KOs) in 2001 and 2003.

"We're having an excellent preparation and we will be well prepared for the confrontation with Archie. I know that the opponent is one of the best and fought good challengers. I'm the number one flyweight [under the WBC] and I'm risking that position. I will arrive with every desire to defeat Archie. We're fine physically, and getting in the best condition," Sosa said.

"It will be a great fight with our two styles. He's a smart fighter but I'll retaliate when necessary and I have to be very attentive from the start."
