Edgar Sosa Destroys Archie Solis in Two Rounds

By Miguel Rivera

Revenge was sweet. Early on his career, Edgar Sosa lost two fights, and his undefeated record, to Archie Solis. But on Saturday night at the Multipurpose Center in Guadalajara, Jalisco - Sosa got his revenge with a knockout victory at 2:12 with a powerful left hook. When the fight started, Archie (36-3, 22 KOs) was able to connect two straight shots and kept his distance from Sosa (48-7, 29 KOs). In the second Sosa stayed patient and landed a massive left hand to put Sosa down and out. The match was a WBC flyweight eliminator.

"We practiced that left hook and thank God it worked, I feel very happy and satisfied with my victory, and now if I expect my representatives to get me the WBC flyweight world title fight," Sosa said.

I just saw the fight, the hook Sosa landed didn't have much power but it was landed on the "OFF BUTTON" and finished archie. Good win, Sosa needs to work on his punching power.
