Edgar Sosa Delivers, Knocks Out Julio Paz in One Round

By Miguel Rivera

Plaza De Toros El Paseo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico - WBC International flyweight title challenger Edgar Sosa (43-6, 26 KOs) knocked out Julio Paz (12-2, 4 KOs) in one round. The big win keeps Sosa on pace for a fall clash with WBC flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjongkam of Thailand, who did part by retaining his title on Friday night. Now the process of location will become an issue for Sosa-Wonjongkam, and the fight going to a mandatory purse bid would not surprise anyone.
