In a heated brawl for a vacant WBC International Silver middleweight title, rugged and spirited Italian warrior Emanuele Blandamura (17-0, 4 KOs) scored a dominant stoppage of fellow undefeated compatriot Luca Tassi (15-1, 7 KOs) in the tenth round of scheduled twelve. The bit shorter Blandamura pressed the action all fight long and Tassi accumulated a huge number of unanswered shots in the second half of the bout. The end of this all-Italian title affair came after several single right hands by Blandamura in the midst of the tenth. Tassi, who suffered his first defeat, was still on his feet.
